Cancer screening

  • Cervical Screening

Cervical screening is one of the best ways to protect yourself from cervical cancer. Cervical screening checks the health of your cervix and helps find any abnormal changes before they can turn into cancer.
All women and people with a cervix between the ages of 25 and 64 should go for regular cervical screening. You’ll get a letter in the post inviting you to make an appointment.

  • Lung Health Check

The NHS Targeted Lung Health Check programme is for people aged between 55 and 74 who are current or former smokers to help support early detection and treatment of lung cancer. The check is quick, simple, and a good way of spotting lung-related problems early on, when any treatment needed can be simpler and more successful.
